Wednesday 21 October ⋅ 15:00 – 16:15 (UTC)

This invite is a reminder for the weekly hangout on public goods that Gitcoin is putting in place after the amazing response following our RFP alongside Other Internet: https://gitcoin.co/blog/seeking-a-new-kind-of-public-good/ Join us to learn what others are thinking about, and to share your own perspectives on what we should be thinking about when it comes to the commons we all share. If you have any questions, or suggestions for other pieces to review in future weeks, feel free to reach out! P.S. To help set the stage, a good reference on the topic of public goods in web3 is Other Internet's Positive Sum Worlds piece: https://otherinter.net/research/positive-sum-worlds/ To learn more about the library: https://www.notion.so/gitcoin/Enter-the-Library-867e8df229374e1f97cae7eae45e5681 Reach out to Linh Tran at linh@gitcoin.co to learn more about public library and how you can participate!

Wednesday 21 October ⋅ 17:30 – 18:30 (UTC)

Hey All! This call is meant to be a strategic session for those who have expressed interest in being part of (or are already involved in) the Public Goods Funding Workstream. This workstream has an initial budget of 45k GTC to help conduct research around, raise funding for, and onboard new grantees to the universe of public goods. More information on the workstream and open roles can be found here: https://www.notion.so/gitcoin/Official-Public-Goods-Workstream-Overview-09d0912b9c3b4861916716f876ed77e9 If you haven't already and you want to be involved, *please pick one or more defined roles* or suggest a new one by putting your Discord handle below the relevant option! These calls will be mainly operational, focused on how to execute on specific tasks or bounties. Over time we can imagine that they might become more like standups (but with better vibes). Onwards for the public good.

Monday 2 November ⋅ 17:00 – 18:00 (UTC)

This is the main governance update call for the DAO. Stewards should seek to attend this to get updates on the operational work happening in workstreams, and to advocate for proposals they have created or seen on the forum.

Workstream leads should come prepared with a 5 minute update. Participation in these calls will be key for keeping the connection between workstreams and governance tight.
