Power Hour: Using Data to Strengthen Your Case for Support

Youth sports costs are up 46% since 2019*, and the ability to show what your work makes possible has never mattered more. Most organizations know their work changes lives. Fewer have the data and language to prove it to a funder. Join us for a free, virtual one-hour session packed with practical strategies for using data, local impact and personal narrative to build a stronger case for support — one that resonates with funders, boards and community champions. We'll look at where to find data you can actually use, how to pair a number with a story so both land harder, and how to talk about program quality in terms a funder recognizes.

📅 Thursday, October 22, 2026
⏱️ 12-1 p.m.
📍Virtual (Zoom)
🏷️ FREE

You'll hear directly from two guest speakers, one from FundPlay Foundation and one from the Afterschool Alliance, who work at the intersection of data, funding and youth programming, and who can share what actually moves a decision-maker.

Come ready to engage! Participants will leave with data sources and language they can put to work in their next appeal, plus they'll have the chance to get real-time feedback on their own case for support during the session.
