The Logistical Side of the AddEvent Affiliate Program

If you’ve worked in affiliate marketing previously, you probably know the drill by now, but here’s how it works for our particular affiliate program. 

As an AddEvent affiliate, you’ll get a unique link to share with your network. Anytime anyone clicks that link and signs up for an AddEvent account, you’ll earn a commission on their purchase. 

Not only that, but we’ll provide you with all of the marketing materials and support that you may need so we can help you promote our event marketing tool even more effectively — and those earnings will multiply, too!

Here’s What You Could Be Earning

We pay a commission rate of 20% — that’s a recurring commission for up to a year on all new paid subscriptions that come from your link! We even have an easy-to-use dashboard that tracks what you’ve earned in real time. 

Plus, we have a 45-day cookie window, maximizing the commission you, as an affiliate, can earn on sales you influenced. And, since our plans range from $29 to $99 a month, your payout could go sky-high!

There’s no limit to how much you can earn. The more you refer, the more money we put in your wallet!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cost to become an affiliate?

Nope! This is a free program. 

What’s the application process like?

All you have to do is fill out the application form, agree to receive email notifications, and agree to our terms and conditions, which we hope you’ll actually read. Once you confirm you’re not a robot and hit “sign up,” we’ll review your application and let you know if you’ve been accepted into the program.

Can I sign up if I’m based outside the US?

Unfortunately, at this time, we can only accept US-based affiliates due to privacy regulations. 

Is it possible to sign up using my own referral link?

Unfortunately, no — self-referrals are strictly prohibited. Our goal for the AddEvent referral program is to encourage our affiliates and ambassadors to spread the word about AddEvent and not just focus on getting a discount. 

What if I need to sign up on behalf of my clients with my own referral link?

There are two ways you could go about this:

  1. If possible, sign up from your clients’ computer(s) and create the account with their information
  2. Sign up your clients as usual (without a referral link) and send us an email with their sign-up email addresses to affiliate@addevent.com so we can manually add them to the system

My friend/client signed up without using the referral link. What can I do?

Send us an email to affiliate@addevent.com, and we’ll manually add them to the system.

What kind of marketing materials do you provide — and where can I access them?

AddEvent is proud to provide our affiliates with quite a few different marketing resources: email templates, marketing decks, case studies, blogs, graphics, and more. You can access everything on your dashboard under the “Assets” tab.

I’m not seeing my sign-ups and rewards. What am I missing? 

Since our tracking is based on browser cookies, there are a few things that could be happening. 

  1. Did you use a different browser/device from the time of your visit to sign up?
  2. Did you clear your cookies?
  3. Did you use incognito mode?
  4. Did you sign up from your own referral link? If so, the sign-up might not be tracked. 

If you are 100% sure the sign-up or sale was not tracked correctly, please contact our referral platform provider at support@firstpromoter.com.

What’s the referral cookie life?

The referral cookie life is 45 days. If a user purchases the product 45 days after the first referred visit, the cookie will have expired, and the conversion will not be tracked as a referral.

When will I get paid?

All payouts are processed after 45 days of reward. Keep an eye out for an email we’ll send you when the payout is completed.

How can I get paid if I don’t have PayPal?

Unfortunately, at this time, we only offer PayPal payouts. If you have a suggestion for a different preferred payment platform, let us know at affiliate@addevent.com so we can consider it for future payment options.
