We celebrate Adventure Social today. 3 years of changing lives, nurturing dreams and living the life of adventure each day. "Happily Ever After Takes Hard Work!" ~jeπ
On June 14, 1777, the newly formed United States Congress established the flag's design:"thirteen stripes of alternate red and white, with a union of thirteen stars of white in a blue field, representing the new constellation."The flag was first used in battle later that year on September 11, 1777. π€―βοΈToday write a post about the Flag and what it means to you. πFor our international friends, maybe write a post about something you love about your US friends or use some of the thoughts in the coaching notes to trigger a different topic.::πCoaching Notes:-- Symbols have power. A flag is a symbol. It isn't the "thirteen stripes of alternate red and white" that is powerful, it is the emotions that the person viewing it attaches to that. -- In a similar way, your profile pic, cover photo, page icon or even name is a symbol. People will connect their feelings to it. When you consistently apply our coaching, those symbols become powerful to people. This is what influence is. We often refer to this as "Social Equity."-- Congress didn't establish Flag day, they established a design. It wasn't for another 100 years that some schools started to establish flag day to help immigrant children feel more connected to their new country. This began to spread and 50 years later it became a federal holiday. Remember, movements start in communities not in board rooms.::π‘Have an idea for a post prompt?
