Friday 2 May ⋅ 16:00 – 17:00 (UTC)
Early childhood attachment patterns are the foundation of our nervous system regulation. According to attachment experts, there are 5 qualities of secure attachment that we can cultivate, which help our nervous systems to feel open, safe, and supported: Safety, Attunement, Soothing, Expressed Delight, and Support of Our Best Self-Development.In this training, we’ll use guided imagery to practice cultivating these qualities, so we can internalize the feelings of regulation they promote in our nervous systems.About Josh:Josh is an attachment repair coach and passionate about helping people heal and develop their potential by regulating their nervous systems with attachment repair. He has been trained and certified in the Ideal Parent Figures (IPF) methodology by Dr. Zack Bein at the Adult Attachment Program and has served as a research assistant studying the transmission of shame in early childhood attachment with Dr. Carol George, co-creator of the AAI and AAP adult attachment assessments. He loves combining deep intellectual understanding with down-to-earth embodied practices, and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.✏ Things to Remember:Please arrive a few minutes before the event starts so you can be ready when we start.
