🎶 Bastille Day Concert

where: Enter the park at 72nd street and Fifth Avenue (Rumsey Playfield), Central Park, New York City

Come celebrate Bastille Day on Sunday, July 14th, from 5pm to 10pm, in the heart of Central Park, featuring iconic French and French-speaking artists:

• IAM. Formed in 1989 in Marseille, IAM is an iconic rap group known for their politically engaged lyrics, who left an indelible mark in the history of French music.

• Magic System. This legendary Ivorian quartet has had a profound impact on French-speaking culture with its catchy sounds. Their song “Magic in the Air” even became the anthem of the French soccer team during the 2018 World Cup.

• The Avener. The Avener, born Tristan Casara, is a French maestro of electronic deep house music, renowned for his enchanting soundscapes and the resounding success of his 2014 hit "Fade Out Lines”.

• Laurie Darmon. A French pop music singer-songwriter, musician and producer, Laurie Darmon founded her own music label, Lionne Records, and now reaches over 100 million streams worldwide. 

• Femi the Scorpion. This Beninese artist, Femi Akanho aka "Femi the Scorpion", is a singer, composer, performer, best known for his dancing talents and for his exploits in Paris, making the street ‘’a place of joy and sharing’’.
