Sound, weather + poetry at Black Salt in Hamtramck.
Enter spring’s chaotic embrace with poems about rebirth and weather data turned into music. Poets Zan de Parry, Carmen Malis King, and Jennifer Quartararo act as rays of sunshine beaming directly onto your frozen hearts. All the while, electronic musician Brett Cimbalik interprets Detroit weather data into a live generative soundtrack. The event will take place at The Black Salt, Hamtramck’s own metaphysical cafe and cocktail bar.
Presented by Field Trip as part of Imbolc 2025.
