On Thursday, May 21, the LEAD Center will be joined by representatives from Virginia’s Equal Opportunity Office, WIOA Adult & Dislocated Worker Programs and Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services, who will share approaches in how to effectively engage workforce staff and partners across all four WIOA Titles (Title I, II, III, IV), including Department of Social Services (TANF/SNAP) and other workforce partners to attend and participate in equal opportunity training, as well as to use the training to strengthen cross agency partnerships to serve job seekers collaboratively (e.g. co-enrollments and shared employment outcomes).
