Kids in Focus Field Trip to Papago Park and the Phoenix Zoo

This field trip with Kids in Focus brings together foster kids 10 - 18 years old, from True North and Grads in Focus alumni.

Your Role: When we arrive at the Phoenix Zoo, mentors will provide kids with cameras, backpacks, and snacks.

We'll start with a short 20-minute hike to "Hole in the Rock" at Papago Park, offering fantastic photo opportunities. Afterward, we'll visit the Phoenix Zoo for a guided tour by their staff. With your support, kids will have a blast capturing photos of the zoo's amazing animals.

The day wraps up with a tasty lunch, and we aim to head out by 12:30 p.m. It's going to be a fun and uplifting adventure – we look forward to having you with us!

Meeting Location: We will meet at the Phoenix Zoo, 455 N Galvin Pkwy, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Meet in front of the Philip & JoEllen Volunteer and Administration Center (see parking map below)

*As we will not be taking a trip with a bus up North, Mentors will not need to bring their laptops and card readers for this trip.
