Advancing Campus Sustainability: Initiatives, Efficiency, and Funding

schedule

Thursday, January 16, 1:00pm - 3:30pm (CST)

Are you interested in hearing about how universities are engaging in the realm of sustainability? The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and South-central Partnership for Energy Efficiency as a Resource (SPEER) are co-hosting an in-person workshop on the topic of Advancing Campus Sustainability: Initiatives, Efficiency, and Funding.

Come network with your peers and learn how universities across the region are moving energy efficiency and sustainability forwards! The workshop will kick off with a panel showcasing sustainability initiatives at universities from across the North Central Texas region. We’ll then dive into the topic of recommissioning university buildings with our second panel, sharing real world examples from right here in the region. Information on how to seek funding for your own projects will also be highlighted. Finally, speakers from NCTCOG and SPEER will wrap up the conversation and share about the work they are doing in these areas, as well as the resources they have available to assist your university.

Join us early at noon for a FREE networking lunch! Registrations for the  networking lunch and a  morning workshop on the topic of Local Government Energy Reporting are separate registrations.
