Perhaps the biggest pop album release of the season comes from Canadian star Tate McRae. McRae has become a household name over the last few years because of her catchy music, sensual and dramatic style of dancing, and approachable personality. Much like her contemporary Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McRae wields her sexuality like a precision weapon to draw in fans and audiences alike. That doesn’t mean there isn’t any substance to her music; in fact, the Canadian has a relatively unique, darker sound in the pop soundscape. We’ll see how aggressively sexual her new album truly is, but if her single “Sports Car” is anything to go off of, the answer might be “very”.
