About the Speaker

Dr. Alvin Orbaek White is a distinguished innovator, public speaker and entrepreneur, holding a PhD in Chemistry from Rice University. He honed his expertise as both a Postdoctoral Researcher and Physics Instructor at MIT before becoming an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Swansea University; he left academia in 2023 to grow TrimTabs. He successfully raised £1.2 million in seed rounds, demonstrating his ability to translate complex scientific innovations into commercially viable solutions.
