Matt McGrath is renowned for his revolutionary contributions to medical technology. With a first-class honours graduate in Industrial Design with over 100 medical device patents in his name, is celebrated for inventing the world’s first fully portable video laryngoscope, the “McGrath Laryngoscope”, manufactured by Aircraft Medical, a company Matt founded in 2001 at the age of 23 This invention not only earned him accolades from The Princess Trust, The Welcome Trust, The Royal Society of Arts, and The Royal Society of Edinburgh but also led to an impressive acquisition by Medtronic for $110 million USD.With a Business, Management and Marketing degree in hand, Andrew first worked with HSBC in London before joining forces with Matt in the early stages of Aircraft Medical where he ran all finance & operations, and latterly taking oversight of market development, global sales and service. With an extraordinary broad set of capabilities, Andrew may be most proud of his successful stewardship of a new medical technology, from concept to the realisation of a dream, to reach 50million patients. Andrew continues to provides strategic Market Development advisory services to Medtrionic’s global marketing team, the world’s largest medical device manufacturer.

Based in New York, the company has devoted six years to intensive research and development, crafting an AI-native imaging platform that stands to redefine the landscape of medical diagnostics. This platform, born from the integration of human-centric design, biomedical engineering, and cutting-edge silicon technology, is poised to transform how healthcare systems deploy medical imaging – making it more accessible, less harmful to patients, and more cost-effective.
