Join the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) and the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) to learn more about Solar in Your Community: Developing an understanding of the community and economic benefits in encouraging and implementing solar adoption and community engagement best practices. Representatives from ICMA will cover topics including the Solar in Your Community Guidebook from the Department of Energy (DOE), the recent expansion of the SolSmart Program, the SolarAPP+ program from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), and more.

This educational workshop will be held in person at NCTCOG’s offices and lunch will be provided. The event is free to attend, but registration is required.

This half-day event is the second in a series of workshops sponsored by the City of Dallas and the Regional Integration of Sustainability Efforts (RISE) Coalition. Supporting funding also provided by the State Energy Conservation Office (SECO).
