Basil Demeroutis | FORE Partnership
Basil is the Managing Partner of FORE Partnership, the purpose-driven real estate private investment firm that believes in driving social and environmental innovation in the built environment. FORE achieves this by transforming buildings through active, hands on asset management that focuses on low carbon strategies, social impact, place making and design. Prior to founding FORE, Basil was a partner at Capricorn Investment Group, the family office of Jeff Skoll (eBay), overseeing the firm’s European business, the real estate strategy globally, and serving on the firm’s investment committee.

Ilan Azouri | Astone Investments
Ilan is the Managing Director of Astone Investments, a London/Mayfair based Single Family Office. He has over 25 years of direct investment experience in Real Estate, Private Equity and Venture Capital, including in creating strategic JV’s and co-investments with institutions and families. Ilan initially practiced law and was Managing Partner of an international law firm. He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a law degree with Honours from the University of Essex.

Patrick Church MRICS | Hardington Capital
Patrick has over 10 years of commercial investment experience, undertaking complicated cashflow analysis and evaluation on hundreds of investment and development opportunities across all sectors. Managed the sale and purchase of over £500m of commercial investments in locations throughout the UK. Currently asset managing a £100m commercial portfolio in the UK and Europe. Global clients include CERN Pension Fund and Catalina RE. Patrick previously held the position of Head of Investment at a 50 year old Central London property consultancy and has managed portfolios for the Crown Estate, Wellcome Trust and Associated British Ports.

Using technology, Fable aggregates demand-led residential real estate portfolios at scale, unlocking access to the fragmented single-family home market. The sector is expected to receive £75B of institutional capital within five years. The UK has a low institutional ownership rate of 3% compared to 18% in the US and 40% in Germany. Through our end-to-end technology platform, institutions deploy capital quickly, cost-effectively and efficiently at scale.

Marcel Shanti | Econest
Econest sources and purchases energy inefficient properties to retrofit and manage at scale for investment portfolios. Econest is a tech-enabled asset manager that leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to automate the process of identifying locations and properties that will provide the highest yields and optimal investment returns. As an impact-focused organisation, Econest targets energy-inefficient properties, with the goal of renovating and retrofitting those properties to become energy efficient, and rent them as eco-friendly properties.
