In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to analyze and visualize bulk and single-cell RNA-seq data. Methods covered include differential gene expression analysis, clustering, classification, and gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA). Attendees will learn to use the GenePattern, Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA), and Integrative Genomics Viewer (IGV) tools to perform these analyses and visualizations following the principles of open, reproducible research.
As the date approaches we will send out a pre-workshop assignment that will have attendees create accounts on all of the resources we will be using.
Presenters: Anthony Castanza, PhD, Edwin Huang, Michael Reich, Thorin Tabor, UCSD Mesirov Lab
