Join hosts Denise Honeycutt and Pat Watkins for an unforgettable evening of food, fellowship, and deep conversation at "Evenings with the Wild: Dinner and Conversation to Rewild Ourselves, Our Faith, and Our Purpose."
This gathering is an opportunity to meaningfully reconnect with nature, community, and the holy in a way that helps us return to ourselves and move us forward together. As we gather at their retreat of a home, we'll explore a big theological idea that impacts how we live and move.
What is Rewilding?
Rewilding is an ecological restoration strategy aimed at increasing biodiversity and restoring natural processes by reducing human influence and reintroducing native species to their habitats. It involves creating conditions where nature can take care of itself, leading to more resilient and self-sustaining ecosystems. In a spiritual context, rewilding is a journey to reconnect with our wild, untamed selves
and the divine, fostering a deeper relationship with the natural world and our Creator.
