Young Futures: Co-visioning tomorrow.Explore cutting-edge science & tech frontiers on children and young people’s futures thinking. How do we design for wellbeing and agency?
Hosted online by Fam Studio, this roundtable event will provide a platform to benchmark cutting-edge science and next technological frontiers on children and young peoples’ futures thinking. We will discuss the principles for supporting human and planetary wellbeing through futures thinking, and how to unlock the potential of engaging children and young people in co-visioning the future.
Our panelists will share case studies on the impact of engaging children and young people in futures thinking, highlighting the benefits to their wellbeing and expanded citizenship. We will also discuss how we can continue to learn and share at scale as the science evolves.
We believe that every child is imaginative, creative, and naturally futures-focused. We recognize the value of their ideas and approaches as we navigate solutions for the future. Our discussions will explore how we can include young people in decision-making, strategy, and policymaking in more creative and inclusive ways, and how this could benefit individual organizations and society as a whole.
There will be a Q&A session at the end, so you can ask any questions you have about the topic. Speakers to be announced.
If you can not attend but are still interested, a recording of the roundtable will be available to watch afterward on our channels.
