At its core, Confirmation is a response to what God has done and is doing in your life. It's also the second part of baptism. At Baptism, we declare God's love for you, even if you can't respond for yourself. But at Confirmation, you have the opportunity to respond, to confirm your faith, and — through learning, friendship, and exploration—to claim that faith for yourself.
Our confirmation gatherings will take place in person on Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m. Each session will focus on a question or topic related to the Christian faith and tradition to help you learn, integrate, and claim your faith as your own. Over the course of nine sessions, you will have the opportunity to ask and explore big questions, learn alongside an adult mentor, and engage in service opportunities to put your faith into action. We will use a United Methodist-centered curriculum, and each session will be facilitated by Brent and Rajeev, featuring games, discussions, and interactive activities.
