Ways of Light and Heart for Today:
the Aramaic Jesus, the Sufis,
and the Ancient Nomadic Tradition of Southwest Asia
In Residence: November 22-24,
Poulstone Court, Herefordshire, England
Neil Douglas-Klotz
Today many feel rootless, confused by life, and challenged by world events. Looking into the future of humanity can prompt us to look back for solutions at times when human beings were similarly challenged. We can find this in the way of the ancient nomads of the Middle East, exemplified by the Aramaic Jesus as well as the Sufi tradition. These living examples can provide healing through their profound practices and fundamental reorientation to life and nature.
In his only UK in-person weekend in 2024, Neil will draw from his 50 years of spiritual practice and numerous books to lead us into these multiple, variegated ways of being human. In this tradition, each person and every being of nature is a “sacred name” of Reality itself.
Neil will especially draw from his forthcoming book The Aramaic Jesus Book of Days (coming in early 2025). The weekend will include: meditation, chant, breathing awareness practice, body prayer, and circle dance in the form of Dances of Universal Peace using Jesus’ Aramaic language.
Numbers limited to 40 persons. Early booking advised. Bursaries and reductions available.
